Women in Arthroplasty Collecting Comments

The AAHKS Women in Arthroplasty Committee (WIA) is currently in a discovery phase of content collection for a video production that will bring to light gender bias in the workplace. The video will feature comments female orthopaedic surgeons have heard that are derogatory in nature. “We’ve seen videos on this topic in other professional fields, and as part of our mission to assess and influence the perception of women in arthroplasty, we would like to create this educational video as a tool to bring awareness and ultimately change in our field,” said Audrey K.
