A Message from the AAHKS Board of Directors regarding Cancellation of the AAOS Annual Meeting

The AAHKS Board of Directors would like to recognize the leadership and wisdom shown by American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) President Kristy L. Weber, MD in reference to the decision made to cancel the AAOS Annual Meeting that was to take place later this month. We appreciate the challenge and difficulty in making such a decision and applaud her fortitude in these challenging times. This was the right decision for the health of attendees, volunteers and staff. It was obviously not an easy decision given the amount of time that Dr. Weber and her team at AAOS had spent on making this an exceptional meeting. We will miss the opportunity for education and fellowship with our orthopaedic peers and look forward to the time when we can all reconnect face-to-face. Read more on the AAOS website.
