DAA Study in JOA Sparks Discussion

The article, “A Comparison of Risk of Dislocation and Cause-Specific Revision Between Direct Anterior and Posterior Approach Following Elective Cementless Total Hip Arthroplasty,” published in the June issue of the Journal of Arthroplasty (JOA) compares the complications and revision rates between the approaches. Authors conducted a cohort study using data from the Kaiser Permanente’s Total Joint Replacement Registry from 2009-2017.
