CARES Act Relief Application Deadline Extended

The deadline for application by eligible Medicaid and Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) physicians and organizations for funds from the CARES Act Provider Relief Fund has been extended by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to August 3. Funds are being made available to eligible CHIP providers that participate in state Medicaid and CHIP programs, who have not already received funds. Eligible providers need to apply. HHS is distributing approximately $15 billion to eligible providers and hospitals that participate in state Medicaid and CHIP programs who have not yet received relief through the Provider Relief Fund General Allocation.
