National Orthopaedic Leadership Conference Wrapping Up in DC

AAHKS members and staff attended the National Orthopaedic Leadership Conference (NOLC) hosted by AAOS in Washington, D.C. this week. The annual conference features leadership training, Capitol Hill visits, roundtable meetings, policy discussions, political reports and symposia. The AAOS also presented the 2015 Media Orthopaedic Reporting Excellence (MORE) Awards that recognize and honor efforts by journalists who further the public’s understanding of musculoskeletal health issues and encourages healthy behaviors in the care of bones and joints. KVUE (ABC) in Austin received an award for their rotationplasty story and features the other 2015 MORE Award winners on their website.
