Medical Device Tax Update

The U.S. House has tentative plans to take up HR 160, the Protect Medical Innovation Act that would repeal the medical device tax in June. In addition an op-ed calling for repeal of the device tax appeared in the influential The Hill newspaper, while the Florida Economic Development Council urged passage of repeal legislation in an op-ed in the Tampa Tribune.
