Charnley Curator Seeks Memories

Paul Jepson Hughes, Honorary Curator of the John Charnley Trust, has contacted AAHKS with a request that we reach out to members to assist him with a memory book in honor of the trust’s namesake. Professor Sir John Charnley, considered the father of total hip arthroplasty, passed away in 1982, and Lady Jill Margaret Charnley passed away on March 8, 2016. Mr. Hughes is seeking memories, anecdotes and photographs of the Charnleys and the events they hosted and attended. Please contact him at jhmc@live.co.uk.
