AAHKS Signs Letter of Support for Medicare Cut Relief Bill

This week AAHKS joined 65 orthopaedic state, specialty and practice groups in writing to Congress in support of H.R. 8702, the Holding Providers Harmless from Medicare Cuts During COVID-19 Act of 2020. This bill, introduced by Congressmen Ami Bera, MD and Larry Bucshon, MD, would provide a “relief payment” in 2021 and 2022 for any Medicare cuts that go through in the Medicare Physician Fee Schedule Final Rule.
