AAHKS Signs On to HIT Comments

AAHKS joined the AAOS and other organizations in submitting a comment letter to the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) in response to the ONC’s request for information regarding assessing interoperability for MACRA. “As surgical specialists, we have unique Health Information Technology (HIT) needs and respectfully offer some suggestions to improve interoperability to better reflect the needs of our surgical specialists and their patients and accelerate HIT adoption in the future by orthopaedic surgeons,” the letter stated.
