Dr. Halsey Named AAOS 2nd Vice President

The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) selected AAHKS member David A. Halsey, MD as Second Vice President after serving as Chair of the Board of Specialty Societies for AAOS. At the AAHKS Board of Directors meeting on March 3, 2016, he stepped down from the AAHKS Second Vice President position. “Although I am looking forward to helping lead the AAOS, and specifically, supporting the needs of our Orthopaedic Specialty Societies, I am sad that I must step down from the leadership line of AAHKS. I have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to serve and will cherish the friendships that have emerged,” said Dr. Halsey. The AAHKS Nominating Committee is working to name a member to the Third Vice President position.
