Description
This course will equip practicing orthopaedic surgeons with state-of-the art information and cutting-edge strategies aimed at enhancing the care of patients undergoing unicompartmental arthroplasty (UKA).
Objectives
- Investigate the research, practice patterns and outcomes contributing to effective use of UKA.
- Determine the indications for the UKA, including medial and lateral UKA.
- Evaluate and differentiate among the various types of implants available for UKA.
- Appropriately evaluate and manage a patient with a painful UKA.
