The Foundation for Arthroplasty Research and Education (FARE) received an IRS determination letter approving its application for not-for-profit charity status. This means that FARE can now accept tax-deductible contributions and use endowment funds received from the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation (OREF). FARE was created by AAHKS to improve health and quality of life by supporting hip and knee research, education in joint care, and scientific advances in the treatment of the hip and knee.
