High Wait Times for TJR in Canada

An editorial in the Times Colonist, a western Canadian daily newspaper, brought to light the wait times for hip and knee replacements on Vancouver Island, which “are among the longest in Canada.” In 2014, only 39 percent of hip patients and 26 percent of knee patients were seen within 182 days.
