The December issue of Arthroplasty Today is now published online and in the app. The Note from the Editor marks Brian J. McGrory’s last editorial as Editor-in-Chief. He established the first open-access journal for AAHKS in 2013 after recognizing the move in publishing towards non-subscription based scientific journals. Dr. McGrory worked with Elsevier to obtain PubMed Central indexing for the journal and continues to see the upward trend of submissions article downloads. On January 1, 2020, Gregory J. Golladay, MD will take on the role of Editor-in-Chief and be succeeded as Deputy Editor by Brett R. Levine, MD.
Other highlighted articles in the current issue include:
Patellar osteolysis after total knee arthroplasty with patellar resurfacing: a potentially underappreciated problem, Zachary K. Christopher, David G. Deckey, Andrew S. Chung, Mark J. Spangehl
