Research Published on Lupus and THA/TKA

The February issue of the Lupus journal features research by Sandeep Mukherjee, MD and co-investigators, “What is the risk of having a total hip or knee replacement for patients with lupus?” Dr. Mukherjee performed a retrospective matched case control study of all THRs and TKRs performed between 1991 and 2011 and recorded in the General Practice Research Database. MedPage Today also reported on the study.
