Weight Loss Surgery Research Presented at AAOS

ScienceDaily reported on bariatric surgery research presented at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons last week. Lead investigator, Emily Dodwell, MD, and study author and AAHKS member, Alexander McLawhorn, MD, looked at the costs and benefits of weight loss surgery prior to hip or knee replacement.
