Women Have Far Fewer Post-Surgery Complications

A study presented at the AAOS Annual Meeting by Bheeshma Ravi, MD, an orthopaedic surgery resident from the University of Toronto showed that women have fewer complications than men after hip or knee replacement surgery. Dr. Ravi used patient data from an Ontario hospital from 2002-2009. Full story.
