At this week’s American Medical Association Annual Meeting of the House of Delegates, over two hundred reports and resolutions were monitored or supported by the Orthopedic Section Council. Topics included:
- Decreasing the burden of pre-certification
- Interoperability of the EMR
- Increased funding for Veterans’ Choice Programs
- Consistency in MOC
- Developing model hospital bylaws
- Supporting the American College of Surgeons’ recommendations for concurrent surgery
