AAHKS Attends LAN Summit, Hill Visits

AAHKS President, William A. Jiranek, MD, represented the association in Washington, DC at Tuesday’s Health Care Payment Learning & Action Network (LAN) Summit, of which AAHKS is a new Committed Partner. The Summit focused on development of Advanced Alternative Payment Models (Advanced APMs) under the CMS MACRA Quality Payment Program and for private payers. While in our nation’s capital, Dr. Jiranek also met with representatives from Congressman Pat Tiberi’s office and Congressman Tom Price’s office to discuss payment and risk adjustment issues under the QPP Advanced APMs and MIPS payment models.
