AAHKS Comments on CMS RFI on Program Integrity

AAHKS provided comments to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Center for Program Integrity’s Request for Information (RFI) on the Future of Program Integrity. Within the RFI, CMS requested input on provider education. AAHKS used the opportunity to reiterate our concerns over the removal of total knee arthroplasty and the upcoming removal of total hip arthroplasty from the CMS inpatient only list (IPO) and the continued lack of guidance for surgeons and institutions on the issue.
