AAHKS, The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, The Hip Society, The Knee Society and The American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine have worked together to develop evidence-based guidelines on the use of perioperative anesthesia and analgesia for total joint arthroplasty. The AAHKS Quality Measures Committee used the AAOS Clinical Practice Guidelines and Systematic Review Methodology to support these new clinical practice guidelines:
- Acetaminophen in Total Joint Arthroplasty
- Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs in Total Joint Arthroplasty
- Gabapentinoids in Total Joint Arthroplasty
- Opioids in Total Joint Arthroplasty
