AAHKS Signs CMS Emergency Waivers Letter

This week AAHKS joined the AMA and more than 100 other specialty and state medical societies in writing to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in support of temporary waivers for health care providers during the COVID-19 public health emergency. The letter requests that these waivers be sunset at the end of the pubic health emergency to maintain “support for the physician-led team-based approach to care.” Read the letter.
