AAHKS Signs on to AMA Letter to CMS Administrator Verma

AAHKS, along with more than 150 other medical specialty and state societies, signed on to a letter to the CMS Administrator Seema Verma to thank CMS for continued dialogue related to reducing administrative burdens, particularly through their “Patients Over Paperwork” initiative. The letter also expressed concerns about complications involved with revising evaluation and management (E&M) codes and asks that CMS continue to work with the medical community to revise documentation requirements to the benefit of providers and patients alike.
