AAHKS Supports Health Care Workers’ Mental Health Resources

In May, AAHKS joined more than 50 health care organizations in supporting Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi’s (D-ILL) Congressional colleague letter, which called for developing a Health and Human Resources (HHS) grant program to allow health care workers and facilities to “confidentially assess and treat the mental health of front line workers in addition to ordering a comprehensive study on healthcare workers’ mental health.” His letter was signed by 90 colleagues in Congress.
