AMA Regulatory Relief Activities

The American Medical Association (AMA) has convened workgroups on Quality Payment Programs and on regulatory relief – both topics with which AAHKS is also involved. AMA has made recommendations on issues such as physician-focused Advanced Payment Models (APM), increased APM opportunities for physicians, giving specialty societies more of a say in the importance of relevant measures, revision of Recovery Audit Contractors (RACs) to be less burdensome to physicians, and many others.
