Craig J. Della Valle, MD, Immediate Past President of AAHKS received the Rowland W Chang, MD, MPH Award of Excellence at the Arthritis Foundation Freedom of Movement Gala in Chicago last weekend. Dr. Della Valle was recognized for his years of commitment to the Arthritis Foundation and its mission to fight and find a cure for arthritis. “I could not think of anyone more deserving of this award than Craig. He has an intellectual curiosity, drive and passion that is unparalleled. We are fortunate to have him as a part of our community, and I am excited to see where he will continue to lead us into the future,” said Denis Nam, MD, MSc, AAHKS member and Arthritis Foundation Board member who presented Dr. Della Valle with the award.
