Professional tennis player, Jo Durie, formerly ranked number one in Britain and now retired tells the story of her battle with joint pain during her career and of her knee and hip replacement surgeries. The Telegraph interviewed Durie following a social media post by another former number one UK tennis pro, Andy Murray, who recently underwent hip arthroscopy in Australia. While Murray intends to return to the sport after he recovers, his surgeon has told him that he will be a candidate for total hip replacement in the future.
