University of Alabama head football coach, Nick Saban, was back to work less than 48 hours after total hip replacement surgery. Saban played 18 holes of golf Monday morning and checked in to Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center in Birmingham for his surgery later that afternoon. TideSports.com reported that he was unable to attend Thursday’s 2019 NFL Draft in Nashville due to travel restrictions, but that “with access to a world-class training facility, weight room, athletic training staff and strength and conditioning coaches just steps from his office door, Saban said he hopes for a speedy recovery.” Full story.
