NHS Wait Times Highest in 10 Years

Last April, Britain’s National Health Service (NHS) issued a statement that only patients in moderate to severe pain could obtain hip or knee replacement surgeries. This “rationing” was put in place to ease the strain on the NHS surgery wait times. The Telegraph is reporting figures now show that the number of people waiting for routine surgery in the NHS system is at its highest level in 10 years. Full story.
