PCL in CR Study Earns Top JOA Tweet this Month

The study, “Does Recession of the Posterior Cruciate Ligament Influence Outcome in Total Knee Arthroplasty?” generated the most activity on the Journal of Arthroplasty’s Twitter account so far this month. The authors’ conclusion that “cruciate-retaining (CR) TKA undergoing partial or complete release of the posterior cruciate ligament (PCL) should not routinely be converted to a posterior-stabilized knee design” led to a discussion on Twitter by those who agree and disagree with the study.
