If you are a resident or have residents in your programs, you will want to know about this interactive surgical skills course designed exclusively for orthopaedic residents. Skills learned in the course will lead to proficiency in hip and knee arthroplasty. Residents will spend the majority of time practicing bone cuts, correct ligament balancing for TKA, determining correct implant sizing, restoring biomechanics in THA and more. They will work on anatomical specimens under the guidance of expert faculty. Panel discussions and faculty-led small group interactions round out the skills lab experience. This course, sponsored by AAHKS, AAOS, The Hip Society and The Knee Society, will be held in three locations around the U.S. in April and May.
