Mark Clatworthy, MD will educate attendees on a Computer Assisted Anatomic Tibia First, Balanced Femur approach to total knee arthroplasty. The focus will be on an emerging technique in total knee arthroplasty that emphasizes patient-specific soft-tissue balance through individualized bone resections while maintaining constraints in their overall mechanical alignment. Dr. Clatworthy will present his surgical technique including patient selection, mechanical alignment distribution summaries, patient satisfaction scores and early results of an ongoing registry study. Participants will experience KNEE3 the enabling technology that emphasizes patient specific soft-tissue alignment while maintaining and verifying mechanical alignment boundaries.
