What Patients are Watching: Orthopaedic Residents on Ellen

Mayo Clinic orthopaedic surgery residents Elvis L. Francois, MD and William A. Robinson, MD were guests of The Ellen DeGeneres Show after their video covering “Alright” by Mike Yung went viral. The fellow residents posted their video to social media featuring Dr. Francois on vocals and Dr. Robinson on piano. They wanted to motivate their patients to help get them through recovery. “Music plays just as much a part in the healing and the spiritual and the emotional healing as does the drugs and surgery and everything else,” said Dr. Robinson.
